Juniper / Losing Streak / Saffron and Poetry @ Tracy -12.31.22
New Years’ Eve 2022 was one we won’t soon forget! We were invited to the smaller city of Tracy, California to shoot Juniper’s album release party - It was initially supposed to be a backyard show but since it was storming outside we had to move into the garage, which I think helped create a really cool atmosphere for the show to take place in. Saffron and Poetry were first - Their music was, as the name implies, mixed with poetry. They entangled the two expertly and created an incredibly emotional vibe that we really enjoyed. Losing Streak hit us with some hard 4 on the floor rock that got the crowd really moving! It reminded me of something I’d hear while hitting a lick in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater as a kid and I loved it. And Juniper played tracks from their new album which is out now on all streaming platforms! Their music takes on a similar tone to Losing Streak but still maintains its own character - especially since all bandmates play all three instruments and sing! Overall a great experience - we got to form new connections and listen to some great music so what’s not to like? We’re looking forward to working more with these artists in the future!
