Steev & The Bitch Club - Tiny Sesh - 06.24.23

Its always an incredible experience seeing someone perform their art for the first time. This was no different. We had Steev and the Bitch Club through the studio last weekend and wow - what a treat! They slid right in and performed four incredible shoegaze / neosoul tracks that we’re incredibly fortunate to have recorded. Upon arrival to the studio, we all took a chance to meet each other, smoke, and plan out our set. Everyone was super friendly and supportive of our technical efforts - even offering some crucially helpful advice 😂 (shoutout May for the dual XLR idea). Track after track, The band gifted us beautiful melodies, amazing vocals, and super heavy breakdowns that emulsified into an incredibly tight performance!! The energy in the room was amazing despite the lack of a crowd - this allowed us to be fully present with the music. The “break” in character in between tracks was another breath of fresh air as well - mistakes were swept under, skill was highlighted, and lots laughs were shared!

A big thanks to Steev and the Bitch Club for helping create a beautiful atmosphere for us all to share and record! The set turned out nothing short of remarkable and we’re super excited to share them with this community!
