Pregnant / Gumby’s Junk / Mediocre Cafe @ Sacramento - 01.14.23

Downtown Sacramento was abuzz on 1.14.23 as three amazing bands, Pregnant, Gumby's Junk, and Mediocre Cafe, took the stage for an amazing house show that left everyone cheering. Despite the place being packed wall to wall, the energy was still palpable as the performances continued. Pregnant kicked off the show with an amazing performance that got the crowd pumped. Their mix of synth-heavy tracks with more chill, restrained beats was what I really liked most about the set. Gumby's Junk took the stage next and brought a different vibe to the show with their punk fusion tracks. We’ve made mention of their incredible timing and rhythmic prowess in the past but wow.. we still can’t get over it 😂. Finally, Mediocre Cafe closed out the show with a set that was anything but mediocre. Their eclectic mix of rock, pop, and indie sounds had the crowd going wild, and their electrifying performance left everyone in the room satisfied with the show. The show was a huge success, with everyone having a fantastic time. We got to meet some amazing new people and reconnect with some old friends - overall an amazing night.
