SyrinSoul / Mediocre Cafe / Pilot Waves - 05.23.23

First off, a special thanks to Syrinsoul for inviting us to this event - we might not have known about it otherwise! and another thanks to Pilot Waves for hosting - their pad was the perfect spot for this show 😂! We were lucky to show up early enough to meet / talk with a few of the artists involved about potential collaboration - such cool people! Syrinsoul was the first band performing and wow what a set! The group’s debut featured a dual keyboard setup, a crazy bass / guitar combo, and an insane drummer that made sure the neighbors knew what was up 😂.

The next group up was Medicore Cafe! This was our second show working with them and it went so well! I especially loved the singer’s dry humor in between songs, it really commanded the audience’s attention 😂. Their jazz inspired sound will never cease to be loved - check out their spotify here! Also shoutout to Plum for that funny harpsichord intro at the beginning of the set too hahaha!

And Finally, headlining the show, was Pilot Waves! an amazing drummer, four guitarists, and a crazy pianist took the stage an absolutely killed the later portion of this show! It was incredible watching the pianist switch from guitar to piano so seamlessly while the lead singer created a beautiful tonal atmosphere. Check out their spotify here please!!
